Food & Drink

Fresh local produce is widely available in and around Crail. Fish and seafood can be bought direct from Crail’s picturesque harbour.

The Lobster Store is a quaint little shack perched on the harbour, serving dressed crab and freshly prepared, locally caught, lobster. Also at the harbour is the Crail Harbour Gallery & Tea Room, located in the cellars of a 17th century fisherman’s cottage that has been beautifully restored.

Everyone visiting the area has to try the local speciality of a fish supper. Delicious!! The most famous Fish & Chip shop is in Anstruther, but personally speaking, we think the Crail Fish & Chip Shop is even better!

There is also a superb variety of cafes, pubs and restaurants in the area. Enjoy!
